# Yield5

{% hint style="info" %}
Launching in July 2026
{% endhint %}

Yield5 is a bond-led, mid-yield product. It blends a stable bond core with a smaller yield sleeve into a single portfolio, and issues that portfolio as one ERC-4626 token on Kaia. It targets a 5%+ net USD APY and is geared toward investors who prioritize stable yield with low NAV volatility.

**Yield5, Stable Blended Yield**

Yield5 is a bond-led RWA product. It blends a stable bond core with a smaller private credit sleeve into a single portfolio, and issues that portfolio as one ERC-4626 token on Kaia. It targets a 5%+ net USD APY and, in exchange for the lower target, carries lower NAV volatility than Yield8.

Prioritizing stability, Y5 anchors the portfolio in USD-based bonds and tokenized money-market instruments, with a private credit sleeve for added return. The blend is a design choice to lower volatility while keeping the yield above cash-equivalent products. Full risk detail follows the Risk Overview and Risk Disclosure.

**Strategy**

Yield5 combines two allocations:

* Fixed Income core (majority, indicatively \~60%). USD-based bonds together with tokenized money-market instruments. This is the stability anchor, with lower NAV volatility, typically in the \~4.0–5.0% range.
* Private Credit sleeve (indicatively \~40%). Secured lending and asset-backed financing. This adds return, typically in the \~6.0–10.0% range.

The two are blended at the portfolio level and share the product's returns; they are not subordinated. Weights are indicative and may change as supply scales and market conditions move. What an investor receives is the product-level, NAV-based return, not the yield of any single holding.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Allocations may change with market conditions and management discretion; they are not fixed weights.
{% endhint %}

**Positioning**

On-chain USD yield tends to cluster at two ends: low-risk T-bills and money-market funds (\~3–4%), and higher-risk on-chain credit (8%+). The middle is under-served. Yield5 is built to occupy that middle, delivering an institutional mid-yield profile on-chain. As stablecoins and on-chain dollars scale, idle USD increasingly needs dependable, low-volatility yield, which is the demand Yield5 is designed to meet.

**Risk Management**

Risk is managed at the holding level and across the portfolio: collateral or asset backing on secured holdings (with security varying by deal), credit uplift on certain bonds through senior guarantees, currency hedging on non-USD exposures, short-to-medium duration, and diversification across issuers and jurisdictions.

{% hint style="info" %}
NAV notice (common): token value moves with product NAV. These are not principal-protected products, nor 1:1 asset-backed products. Target net APY is a target, not a guarantee, and investors may lose some or all capital. Full risk detail follows the Risk Overview and Risk Disclosure.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://kaiainvestmentpartners.gitbook.io/kaiainvestmentpartners-docs/products/yield5.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
